Day 2

It's still going great!  I haven't had one single cheat in two days ;) I will admit, last night I was craving something sweet.  It was all I could think about.  But I didn't give in.  I ate some grapes.  And then I just went to bed because I would have not survived had I stayed up.  I'm feeling very energized today.  I haven't gotten in my workout yet today, and it doesn't look like the gym is happening.  My car is in for an oil change.  I might go find my daughter's car and head down, but then again, maybe I will just get out a video and do that.  OR it's such a beautiful day maybe I will head outside for a walk.  ANYWAY. . . . I stepped on my scale this morning and it was very favorable.  I'm not sharing any weight loss numbers until day 10.  But I was quite pleased.  My husband grilled up a bunch of chicken breast and some sirloin last night.  So today for lunch I made this:



I sauteed onion and pepper and corn in a little olive oil.  (I know corn isn't recommended for the cleanse, but it was a very small amount and I figure it's better than cheese and sour cream!) The I added the grilled chicken with some taco seasoning. After it was all ready, I put some of the brown rice I had left over from yesterday in the pan and heated that up with it. Put it on some lettuce leaves and topped with tomatoes and a very small amount of avocado.  Not too bad - it satisfied me.  Could have had some more flavor.  After I was done I realized I had salsa I could have put on it! Duh!

I boiled up some eggs today for us to have as a snack with protein on the go.  My husband is starting his cleanse tomorrow and I can't wait to see his results too!
